Our next release is finally finished. It is a
BlazBlue doujin titled "
Vanquish!". This doujin was a lot of fun to work on due to the crazy dialogue in it and the amount of jokes we made here in this small room of a studio we all work in, minus two of us on the QA team who we use the interwebs to communicate with. The only problem we ran into was the final page of the doujin. The author began making jokes that none of us could properly translate out, since they were all censored words. We put in the romaji of the words that were censored out, but as far as attempting to identify what the
fuck was going on in the conversation itself, we were lost. If you figure it out, feel free to let us know.

In other news, we have another translator who is working on a
K-On doujin as of right now, and is also working on another
Hayate no Gotoku! doujin. He promises to work hard to finish his work, lest we pelt him with many strips of bacon...Which may not be a punishment at all. We will see if this causes him to finish up or not.

ReplyDeleteThe final page refers to Ky Kiske of Guilty Gear fame. Since BB is like, the spiritual successor of Guilty Gear, and Jin is basically Ky and Johnny's cheapness + ice car, not to mention Ky being in a lot of yaoi pairings, you get the point.
